She gave up her mundane corporate job to pursue her passion for wines. Speaking about her role at the ITC Group of Hotels, she says, “I have to curate the wine list, organise events for iconic wines, collaborate with leading wine houses and decide on private labels for the group. My main objective is for ITC to be perceived by its guests as a premier wine destination for this country.” Educating the consumer is pivotal to her efforts, and she is modernising wine education and awareness through her YouTube channel, where she reviews wines and educates viewers on the finer nuances of different wines. “It is such a visual subject that it lends itself effortlessly to the digital medium,” says Holland.
